About us

Ostra Valley Line is a railway company based at Hollstadt in Westgau. The company was founded on 19 July 1943 by Johanna Rusk and has traded for 83 years.

Ostra Valley Line — Hollstadt — carriage of goods to every station on the line. The name on the tin is the name on the gate.

Our founder. Johanna Rusk, lawyer, was born at Talberg on 26 April 1898 and died on 11 February 1975.

Our history

Dates are as entered in the register of companies at the Ministry of Finance.

1. 1943 The company is founded at Hollstadt.
2. 1951 Ostra Valley Line lists on the Vellmar Exchange as PIF. In the press.
3. 1980 Salzhafen Gas Company is acquired by Ostra Valley Line. In the press.
4. 1993 Pener & Sons, Printers is acquired by Ostra Valley Line. In the press.

Ostra Valley Line is quoted on the Vellmar Exchange as PIF since 1951. Last year-end close: 3,390.07 marka (31 December 2025). The Exchange publishes year-end closes only.
